I am not like a pebble on the beach - a grain of sand on the seashore or just one of millions of human beings past, present and future. No, I am a unique human being loved by God as if I were an only child - the only fruit of his creative powers.

Speak Life:You are loved.You have purpose.You are a masterpiece.You are wonderfully made.God has a great plan for you.

A bad book about the love of God remains a bad book.

We must love God more for what He is, than for what He bestows.

Christ was born of a virgin, that we might be born of God. He took our flesh, that He might give us His Spirit. He lay in the manger that we might lie in paradise. He came down from heaven, that He might bring us to heaven. And what was all this but love? If our hearts be not rocks, this love of Christ should affect us. Behold, love that surpasses knowledge!

God may chastise, but He cannot hate.

The Scripture is a love letter which the great God has written to us. We must not run it over in haste, but meditate upon God's wisdom in writing, and his love in sending it to us.

I was wrong. God's law is only Love.

Nobody is worthy to be loved. The fact that God loves man shows us that in the divine order of ideal things it is written that eternal love is to be given to what is eternally unworthy. Or if that phrase seems to be a bitter one to bear, let us say that everybody is worthy of love, except him who thinks he is.

Something only God can do. He both broke and filled my heart at the same time. I still don't understand that.

God is not, in the first place, 'absolute power', but 'absolute love'.

Regardless of the source of our pain, we must accept that God knows, God loves, and God is at work.
