Nothing is too much trouble for Love.

Do you love this God who is everything, or do you just love everything He gives you?

I have fallen in love with you, God. Take care of us all, one way or the other.

Passion was passion and love was love, regardless of who the participants involved were, or what sort of body they were assigned at birth.

Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn't love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.

God at his best (and he always is) does not have favorite children.

JOHN 3:16-18 [Jesus said,] "This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again.

I tell you, love your enemies. Help and give without expecting a return. You'll never — I promise — regret it. Live out this God-created identity the way our Father lives toward us, generously and graciously, even when we're at our worst. Our Father is kind; you be kind.

To a father growing old nothing is dearer than a daughter.

There are illegitimate parents, but I don't believe there are any illegitimate children.

There's nothing you can do to increase or decrease the love that God has for you, but there are things you can do that increase or decrease your awareness of that love. That's certainly been my experience.

All of God's judgments are aimed at whatever interferes with love.
