I seek an incorruptible inheritance," Christian answered. "It's pure and untarnished, and it never fades.

And again, after two days He will revive us, and the third day He will raise us up, and we shall live in His sight.  Hosea vi. 2.  Which is now fulfilled by the sitting down of the Son of Man on the right hand of the Majesty in the heavens; according to that to the Ephesians, And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.  Eph. ii. 6.

There is an endless kingdom to be enjoyed, and everlasting life to be given us, that we may live in that kingdom forever.

If it really was true that all would sooner or later reach heaven, and hell sooner or later be emptied of inhabitants, it never could be said that it would have been "good for a man not to have been born." Hell itself would lose its terrors, if it had an end. Hell itself would be endurable, if after millions of ages there was a HOPE of freedom and of heaven.

To be prayerless is to be without God, without Christ, without grace, without hope, and without heaven. It is to be on the road to hell. Now can you wonder that I ask the question, Do you pray?

God is able to stand in my yesterday, today, and tomorrow, He knows things and sees things for which I need to be prepared.

But no matter, because that's about the time Jesus will remind us that thighs aren't something we'll ever think about in eternity. And all God's girls say

God is good. God is good to me. God is good at being God. And today is yet another page in our great love story. Nothing

If we place our hope and future in the hands of our unchanging, unflinching God who never leaves us or forsakes us, we'll find healing and freedom.

It is crucial to have a hope and a power beyond ourselves. We are made for the same hope and power that raised Christ from the dead.

Jesus lived the way he did in this world, for this world, because his hope was set beyond this world; that is the secret of his life. "Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he's there, in the place of honor, right alongside God" (Hebrews 12:2 THE MESSAGE).

As Athanasius said, "He became what we are that we might become what he is."
