Life's blows cannot break a person whose spirit is warmed at the fire of enthusiasm.

Lots of people limit their possibilities by giving up easily. Never tell yourself this is too much for me. It's no use. I can't go on. If you do you're licked, and by your own thinking too. Keep believing and keep on keeping on.

Stand up to your obstacles and do something about them. You will find that they haven't half the strength you think they have.

Never feel shame for trying and failing, for he who never failed is he who never tried.

Whenever you make a mistake or get knocked down by life, don't look back at it too long. Mistakes are life's way of teaching you. Your capacity for occasional blunders is inseparable from your capacity to reach your goals. No one wins them all, and your failures, when they happen, are just part of your growth. Shake off your blunders. How will you know your limits without an occasional failure? Never quit. Your turn will come.

I am a woman in process. I'm just trying like everybody else. I try to take every conflict, every experience, and learn from it. Life is never dull.

You can take from every experience what it has to offer you. And you cannot be defeated if you just keep taking one breath followed by another.

Matthew 5:41     Our Lord's teaching can be summed up in this: the relationship that He demands for us is an impossible one unless He has done a supernatural work in us. Jesus Christ demands that His disciple does not allow even the slightest trace of resentment in his heart when faced with tyranny and injustice.

If God can accomplish His purposes in this world through a broken heart, then why not thank Him for breaking yours?

I think a very key thing for women is to refuse to let anyone tell you you're banned, you're out of fashion, you don't look the right way. Put your energy into a career that will be there for you regardless of the naysayers.

God's grace often does its best and brightest work when things are the darkest and most difficult.
