I am a child of God, I am the offspring of the King, and therefore I am an heir to His kingdom! And just like Jesus, I still have work to do.

Therefore is every sincere comer to Jesus Christ called also a child of the promise. "Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise," (Galatians 4:28); that is, we are the children that God hath promised to Jesus Christ, and given to him; yea, the children that Jesus Christ hath promised shall come to him. It is a great thing to be a child of God, and joint-heir with Jesus Christ. If this is your privilege, you will know the fellowship of Christ's sufferings.

Remember, you are a coheir with Christ. Every attribute of Jesus is at your disposal.

Heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ.

Today Saint Paul has told us that in Christ we have become God's adopted children, brothers and sisters in Christ. This is who we are. This is our identity.
