Do whatever it takes to keep your gaze on [God]. Memorize Scripture. Sing hymns. Read biographies of great people. Ponder the testimonies of faithful Christians... Make the deliberate decision to set your hope on Him.

for it is pleasing when you keep them within you and they are constantly on your lips.

Memorizing Scripture strengthens your faith because it repeatedly reinforces the truth, often just when you need to hear it again.
