When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. (Isa. 43:2)

You'll get through this. It won't be painless. It won't be quick. But God will use this mess for good. In the meantime don't be foolish or naive. But don't despair either. With God's help you will get through this.

First thought of the morning, last worry of the night—your Goliath dominates your day and infiltrates your joy.

Struggles come, for sure. But so does God.

Regardless of what you've done, it's not too late. Regardless of how far you've fallen, it's not too late. It doesn't matter how low the mistake is, it's not too late to dig down, pull out that mistake, and then let it go—and be free. What makes a Christian a Christian is not perfection but forgiveness.

Lift up your eyes. Don't get lost in your troubles. Dare to believe that good things will happen. Dare to believe that God was speaking to you when he said, "In everything God works for the good of those who love him" (Rom. 8:28 NCV).

The contagiously calm person is the one who reminds others, "God is in control." This is the executive who tells the company, "Let's all do our part; we'll be okay." This is the leader who sees the challenge, acknowledges it, and observes, "These are tough times, but we'll get through them.

When I'm patient, things usually work out for the best in the end.

We'll probably never learn to enjoy our storms, but we can learn to enjoy God's presence in the midst of them.

I have labored in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing and futility; yet my vindication is with the LORD. Isaiah 49:4

Isaiah 40:31: "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint

Refuse to let your enemy pluck away the seeds God has planted. Let these truths take root, and cultivate them with belief.
