Our problem is that we always want to hold on to the past and still go into the future. That is what is meant by having a double heart. In James 1:8 we read that a person who is of two minds is hesitating, dubious, irresolute, unstable, unreliable and uncertain about everything he thinks, feels or decides. The King James Version says, A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

If we are not willing to risk what we have now, we will never find out what we could have.

People only get really interesting when they start to rattle the bars of their cages.

To me, nothing ever feels like a sure thing. I cling to that because it's very important you don't ever think anything is a sure thing.

I used to worry about every little thing, trying to figure out every problem. Well, I realize now how foolish that was. I was no more in control of my life than the man on the moon.

Don't let not knowing how it'll end keep you from beginning. Uncertainty chases us out into the open where God is waiting.

I don't see the big picture. I don't have a clue. But I know God does. I'm going to declare that, even if I don't feel it right now.

I can't see what God's plan is. I just know I've got to live with it.

Skepticism can keep us from blessing, can keep us trapped in two minds.
