It is an old faith and it is a good faith that our life is a pilgrims progress - that we are strangers in the earth, but that though this be so, yet we are not alone for our Father is with us. We are pilgrims, our life is a long walk or journey from earth to heaven.

We do well to remember that the Bible has far more to say about how to live during the journey than about the ultimate destination.

Few can foresee whither their road will lead them, till they come to its end.

all of us are shepherded whether we realize it or not. Your shepherd might not be Jesus. But something is going to lead you.

You came in by yourselves, without His direction, and will go out by yourselves, without His mercy.

We are all travelers in the wilderness of the world, and the best that we can find in our travels is an honest friend.

Some journeys take us far from home. Some adventures lead us to our destiny.

I started playing basketball very late, and for me to make it to the league so fast... I've always said my life is a movie.

But playing your music as loud as you want and coming home drunk aren't real life. Real life, it turns out, is diapers and lawnmowers, decks that need painting, a wife that needs to be listened to, kids that need to be taught right from wrong, a checkbook, an oil change, a sunset behind a mountain, laughter at a kitchen table, too much wine, a chipped tooth, and a screaming child.

Some people skip through life. Others are dragged through it. I sometimes wonder if we are moving through time, or whether time is moving through us. Light, unlike anything else in the universe is not effected by time. Light exists outside of time.. It is still a mystery to physicists.

To know there is a better story for your life and to choose something other is like choosing to die.

A good movie has memorable scenes, and so does a good life.
