Success is not final, failure is not fatal

Success is often achieved by those who don't know that failure is inevitable.

And this is what ye have shipped for, men! to chase that white whale on both sides of land, and over all sides of earth, till he spouts black blood and rolls fin out.

When I was a young man I observed that nine out of ten things I did were failures. I didn't want to be a failure so I did ten times more work.

There's something about taking the path of least resistance that makes a lot of sense. But at the same time, we have to figure out which things in life are worth struggling through.

Every stumble is not a fall, and every fall does not mean failure.

Failure is the tuition you pay for success.

Obstacles are necessary for success because in selling, as in all careers of importance, victory comes only after many struggles and countless defeats.

I have tried, at least most of the time, to set high objectives, to accept failures and disappointments with relative equanimity, to acknowledge and try to correct my mistakes and weaknesses, and then to set different and sometimes higher goals for the future.
