I started training with school friends and, one by one, they all dropped out. When we became teenagers, it seemed more exciting to go shopping at weekends. My mum told me not to worry about what my friends were doing and to stick at it.

What we do with a little time, a little talent, and a little money tells God a lot.

We should stop asking ourselves how we feel about doing what we know we should do. If we don't stop consulting our feelings, we will not finish many things in life.

Sooner or later they start to get more and more exhausted because if they are Christians, they are often taking on church commitments also—and maybe even some commitments that are not Spirit-led. It may be things that they feel they need to do. But if they are not careful, they may end up trying to be everything to everybody, which cannot be done. They may begin to feel that they are being pulled apart because everywhere they look there is someone wanting them to do something. I

Things that are important to us are written in our calendars. If you want to be intentional about setting aside time to pray, you need to plan for it.
