We live in a world of shifting values. The family is falling apart. Parents failing in what they ought to do.

It may be necessary temporarily to accept a lesser evil, but one must never label a necessary evil as good.

There are temptations to idolatry at every level, and the greater the good the greater the temptation.

There are movies where we are interested in seeing people's lives without agreeing with what they're doing.

For a prostitute is a deep pit, and an adulteress is a narrow well.

About the nature of human beings. I discovered that confronted by temptation, we will always fall. Given the right circumstances, every human being on this earth would be willing to commit evil.

If human life becomes cheapened, it becomes cheapened at both ends. Parents are killed, by euthanasia, when they become a "burden" to their children; and children are killed, by abortion, when they become a "burden" to their parents. All societies in history would regard these two sins as two of the most heartless and inhuman possible sins. To kill your parents is to kill yourself, your own past; and to kill your children is to kill yourself, your own future.

There is no such thing as an involuntary sin.

There will always be issues where an abortion is necessary.

In this life, we have to make many choices. Some are very important choices. Some are not. Many of our choices are between good and evil. The choices we make, however, determine to a large extent our happiness or our unhappiness, because we have to live with the consequences of our choices.

As a pastor, I addressed the sorts of issues I see people struggling with most and the issues talked about most directly and most frequently in the New Testament. That leads us to recurring concerns with sexual immorality, relational sins, and vices associated with the breaking of the Ten Commandments.

All men are tempted. There is no man that lives that can't be broken down, provided it is the right temptation, put in the right spot.
