I still have a lot to learn - about the business, about music, and about myself. Its exciting.

I think that every living person, every person who is awake to the functioning principles within his reality has a moment where he stops blaming the problems in the world on group thinking, on humanity and authority, and starts to face himself. I hate this more than anything. This is the hardest principle within christian spirituality for me to deal with. The problem is not out there, the problem is the needy beast of a thing living in my chest.

If somebody buys what you offer, how will it make their lives better?

When a story demands transformation, you are much more likely to transform.

Perhaps if we stop reducing the text to formulas for personal growth, we can read it as stories of imperfect humans having relations with a perfect God and come to understand the obvious message He is communicating to mankind.

I was creating someone I could live through, the person I'd be if I redrew the world.

I worried this course was going to be a waste of time. I was wrong. I made more progress in six hours than I've made in ten years.

Every human being is on a transformational journey.

A hero needs somebody else to step into the story to tell them they're different, they're better. That somebody is the guide. That somebody is you.

It's the crossing of that distance that makes the story work.

And I found myself wanting even better stories. And that's the thing you'll realize when you organize your life into the structure of story.

Let us never measure our religion by that of others, and think we are doing enough if we have gone beyond our neighbors.
