Don't just serve God, enjoy God. Enjoy being God's child. Enjoy the little corner of life that He has given you!

We can complain and remain, or praise and be raised.

Be Thankful at All Times I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. PSALM 34:1 Some people are very thankful for every little thing that is done for them, while others are never satisfied, no matter how much is done on their behalf. Choose to be a grateful person—one filled with gratitude not only toward God, but also toward people. When someone does something nice for you, let that person know you appreciate it.

lookout for God's love to show up in your life. Try not to miss one thing He does. God often works through people, so when someone you know does something kind for you, it is actually God loving

by choosing to remember the good times of past days—pondering the doings of God and the works of His hands. In other words, he thought on something good, and it helped him overcome depression.

Be content with what you have, refuse to focus on what you don't have; love others; and stay hopeful concerning what you want and need.

Think about the times God has been there for you, times He has rescued you, times He has provided for you, and times He has shown you His love to be reminded that He is faithful.

We can offer thanksgiving at all times—in every situation, in all things—and by so doing, enter into the victorious life Jesus died to give us. It may require a sacrifice of praise or thanksgiving, but a person who consciously takes the time to be grateful is always happier than someone who does not.

I decided that my life was a gift from God, and my happiness was not dependent upon children, a husband, or any of the other things I had once thought were the source of happiness. It's about being able to accept the bitter and sweet parts of life.~Lois Troyer

How many times do we miss blessings simply because we weren't looking for them? We get busy and distracted. We get stuck in bad moods. We think too much about ourselves—what I need and want. When our minds are stuck on all that is wrong, we miss all the wonderful things God puts in our path.

To complain is to say in effect; "God, You blew it! You had a chance to meet my expectations, but You couldn't handle it! Nice try, God, close—but not close enough." So complaining definitely injures you and the Lord.
