I try to live what I teach. A lot of things come against us in life, but we should try to find something to be grateful for, and see each day as a gift.

There's a lot that is good in your life-don't take it for granted. Don't get so focused on the struggles that you miss the gift of today

You can't take life for granted.

Take advantage of each small success. In this way you close the gap between what you want from life and what it is giving you.

The key to thankfulness is not to view God through the lens of our circumstances, but to view our circumstances through the lens of God's love and sovereign purpose.

He was paying some tribute to things unforgotten.

There are two words that you should use frequently in your youth: sorry and thank-you. Use the first one as often as possible, so that on your death bed all that you have to say to your friends is thank-you!.

Take it and be thankful.

To stand on one leg and prove God's existence is a very different thing from going on one's knees and thanking Him.
