Today is a precious gift. The present moment is where I meet with you, beloved. So seek My Face throughout this day that I have made. I have carefully prepared it for you—with tender attention to every detail. I want you to rejoice and be glad in it.

I forgot what we were celebrating. Because we were always celebrating something, a new job, a new poem, a new love, a new dream.

I wish to live whatever life I have as fully and as sweetly as possible

You seek escape from pain. We seek the achievement of happiness. You exist for the sake of avoiding punishment. We exist for the sake of earning rewards. Threats will not make us function; fear is not our incentive. It is not death that we wish to avoid, but life that we wish to live

If the world gives you a thousand reasons to cry, find a thousand and one reasons to smile.

The soul of one who serves God always swims in joy, always keeps holiday, is always in her palace of jubilation, ever singing with fresh ardor and fresh pleasure a new song of joy and love.

Live well, learn plenty, laugh often, love much.

It is of the small joys and little pleasures that the greatest of our days are built.
