I still get wildly enthusiastic about little things...I play with leaves, I skip down the street and run against the wind.

Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be.

Times may be hard and people may be demanding, but never forget that life is special. Every single day is a special day. God is at work in you!

Those who move forward "with a" happy spirit will find that things alwas work out.

I think Christmas is about celebration and come on, on the inside everyone wants to dance.

Every day is a gift from God, no matter how old we are.

Choosing to be happy and saying thank you to whatever circumstances befall you is one of the most radical things you could ever do.

That is why dogs make such a hit. They are so glad to see us that they almost jump out of their skins. So, naturally, we are glad to see them. A baby's smile has the same effect.

This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

We must accept the circumstances we constantly find ourselves in as the place of God's kingdom and blessing. God has yet to bless anyone except where they actually are, and if we faithlessly discard situation after situation, moment after moment, as not being "right," we will simply have no place to receive his kingdom into our life. For those situations and moments are our life.

It is fitting that we arise with thankfulness and praise to God. This is fundamental and will be a natural (and supernatural!) beginning to your day after having retired in faith and prayer.

Thank you, God, for this new day. Thank you for this new beginning.
