When we all reach the end of our earthly journey, we will have just begun.

There are no new sins—only new sinners. There are no new crimes—only new criminals, No new evils—only new evildoers. No new pleasures—only new pleasure seekers. We must distinguish between wholesome, God-ordained pleasure and sinful, worldly pleasure.

Do you have that hope of eternity in your heart right now? Do you know—beyond doubt—that some day you will join the angels in heaven in singing praises to God? If not, make your commitment to Christ today. Without Christ you are separated from God and without hope of eternal life. You need to have your sins forgiven, and you need to be renewed and cleansed by the power of God. And this can happen if you will give your life to Christ and trust Him as your personal Lord and Savior.

Someday this life will end, but for the Christian death also marks a beginning—the beginning of a new life with God that will last forever.

Because of what Jesus Christ did for us through His cross and resurrection, we know that we have hope for the future.

Jesus taught that there is an eternal destiny for each individual—either heaven or hell (John 5:25—29). The eternal destiny of each individual depends on a decision made in this life (Luke 16:19—31)—to be followed by a life of obedience.

No one spoke more about hell than Jesus did, and the hell He came to save men from was not only a hell on earth . . .it was something to come.

Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom. Jesus answered him, 'I tell you the truth, today you will be with me in paradise'" (Luke 23:42—43).

New Agers are terrified of their own mortality, and they want to believe that somehow the soul will survive. Of course it will, but not as they imagine.

Will a loving God send a man to hell? The answer from Jesus and His teachings of the Bible is, clearly, "Yes!" He does not send man willingly, but man condemns himself to eternal hell because . . .he refuses God's way of salvation and the hope of eternal life with Him.

Man is a moral failure. Our only hope is GOD.

There are thousands of lonely people who carry heavy and difficult burdens of grief, anxiety, pain, and disappointment; but the loneliest of all is one whose life is steeped in sin.
