erring on the side of the client when it comes to fees. Because you're interested in a long-term relationship with a client, it is in your best interest to show them that you are more focused on helping them than you are in maximizing your short-term revenue.

And they don't worry about whether the potential client will take advantage of their generosity; they know that for every client that does, nine others will appreciate their generosity and start to see themselves as a client even before they formally decide to become one.

JOY goes against the foundations of mathematics: it multiplies when we divide.

Be blessed. And just as you are transforming your own life, may you transform the lives of those around you. When they ask, do not forget to give. When they knock at your door, be sure to open it. When they lose something and come to you, do whatever you can to help them find what they have lost. First, though, ask; knock at the door and find what is missing in your life. A hunter always knows what to expect - eat or be eaten.

You get what you give. What you put into things is what you get out of them.

I've found that giving gifts is transformative. It makes me better. It clarifies my thinking and allows me to do better work.

Be happy when you work, thankful when you earn, cautious when you spend, shrewd when you save, and charitable when you give.
