Success means we go to sleep at night knowing that our talents and our abilities were used in a way that served people.  We're compensated by grateful looks in other people's eyes, whatever material abundance supports us in performing joyfully and at high energy, and the magnificent feeling that we did our bit today to help save the world.

But remember, there's only one of us here: What we give to others, we give to ourselves.

Making another person feel guilty will never build unity or goodwill; only blessing, not blaming, can do that. All judgment does is to shut people down emotionally and psychologically.

What we give to others, we give to ourselves. What we withhold from others, we withhold from ourselves. In any moment when we choose fear instead of love, we deny ourselves the experience of Paradise.

Another miraculous transformation is the shift from a sales mentality to a service mentality. When we're motivated by the desire to sell, we're only looking out for ourselves.  When we're motivated by the desire to serve, we're looking out for others.  Since in the realm of consciousness, we only get to keep what we give away, a service mentality is a far more abundant attitude.

What we mentally refuse to permit others, we refuse ourselves. What we bless in others, we draw to us.

How can I best serve the world?" take precedence over "What can I get out of this?" Within that realm, we naturally do get a job, we naturally do create money, and we naturally do produce an outer prosperity that reflects the prosperity in our hearts.

Whatever I give to others, I am giving to myself.

The best way to cheer yourself is to try to cheer someone else up.

To a great extent the world is what we make it. We get back what we give. If we sow hate, we reap hate; if we scatter love and gentleness we harvest love and happiness. Other people are like a mirror which reflects back on us the kind of image we cast. The kind person bears with the infirmities of others, never magnifies trifles, and avoids a spirit of fault finding.

The ideal man, takes joy in doing favours for others; but he feels ashamed to have others do favours for him. For it is a mark of superiority to confer a kindness; but it is a mark of inferiority to receive it.

It is only goodness which gives extras, and so I say again that we have much to hope from the flowers.
