Don't use people to get money and things, but be committed to using money and material goods to bless people. Rich people can do a lot of good for society if they are willing.

What we make happen for someone else, God will make happen for us. Do you sometimes find yourself wishing you had more encouragement, maybe from your family or friends or boss? But how often do you encourage others? If you're not sure, then make an extra effort right away. You can be the channel that God uses to keep someone confidently pressing toward success rather than giving up.

I have now learned that we do not even know what "happy" is until we forget about ourselves, start focusing on others, and become generous givers.

The habit of giving only enhances the desire to give.

The burden of what Jesus says is this: give it away. Give it away gladly. Make friends by your generosity. The door to a gospel future is by generosity, outrageous, intentional giving away in the present to create a viable future. That seems to me such an urgent word, because we are so deeply caught in cycles of greed and affluence and self-indulgence and acquisitiveness of a fearful kind that will yield no human future.

A kind heart is a fountain of gladness, making everything in its vicinity freshen into smiles.

Do unto those downstream as you would have those upstream do unto you.

My friends, for followers of Christ, it is impossible to give without receiving something back. It may not come back from the person or group we gave to. It may not come in the exact form we expected. But be assured, giving is rewarded! What gift do you have to give today?

However, the truth is that to foster the next generation, we must become selfless leaders who are not out to make a name or position for ourselves but rather willing to pass on our knowledge and understanding for the kingdom's sake. Like David, we must be ready to deny ourselves in order to protect those God has entrusted to us.

There is no substitute for time. Giving time is giving life to others.

Shall we make a new rule of life from tonight always try to be a little kinder than is necessary.

Seek to do good, and you will find that happiness will run after you.
