No one becomes rich unless he enriches another.

If your desire is to be successful or to make a positive impact on your world, you need to become a person of influence.

If your dream only includes you, it's too small.

But many southern whites were not under the racist hold of the Democrats. As they became more prosperous, these whites came to see the GOP reflect their beliefs in economic opportunity and upward mobility. They also found Republicans more in tune with their patriotism as well as their socially conservative views. Quite naturally, they moved over to a party that better reflected their interests and aspirations.

If somebody buys what you offer, how will it make their lives better?

Simply turning our focus to the customer and offering them a heroic role in a meaningful story is enough to radically change the way we talk about, and even do, business.

May we all be richly rewarded for putting our customers' stories above our own.
