Sometimes God requires much of us so we can experience the unmatched exhilaration of partnering in divine triumph.

Whether well-fed or hungry, whether in abundance or in need … I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:12

Walk in the shadow of the Almighty. Grab onto the hem of His garment and find the healing and grace to go where He leads. In that place you will be equipped to do the impossible. There you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you.

Promised Land theology becomes an earthbound reality only to those who cash in their fear and complacency for the one ticket out of their long-inhabited wilderness.

Embrace the tension.

But you can't just believe in Him to be free from your stronghold. You must believe Him. Believe He can do what He says He can do. Believe you can do what He says you can do. Believe He is who He says He is. And believe you are who He says you are.

With You I can attack a barrier, and with my God I can leap over a wall. Psalm 18:29

If yesterday's wimp is going to become tomorrow's warrior, something has to happen today.

Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may reside in me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us? Romans 8:31

Opposition is anything that opposes (1) us, (2) the work God desires to do in us, and (3) the work God desires to do through us.

The most effective time to resolve to obey Christ is in advance of difficulty. Planning to stay faithful can greatly enhance victory.
