until they bump into an obstacle that stymies them. If you encounter a problem with no immediate solution, your response to that situation will take you either up or down. You can lash out at the difficulty, resenting it and feeling sorry for yourself. This will take you down into a pit of self-pity. Alternatively, the problem can be a ladder, enabling you to climb up and see your life from My perspective.

grip My hand tightly and look for growth opportunities. Instead of bemoaning the loss of your comfort, accept the challenge of something new.

Therefore, do not fear your limitations or measure the day's demands against your strength. What I require of you is to stay connected to Me,

And He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness." Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 CORINTHIANS 1 2 : 9 (NKJV)

Awareness of your inadequacy is a rich blessing, training you to rely wholeheartedly on Me.

With Me all things are possible! Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go. —JOSHUA 1: 9

I will increase your strength and your courage when you look to Me. Refuse to grow discouraged.

COME TO ME with your gaping emptiness, knowing that in Me you are complete. As you rest quietly in My Presence, My Light within you grows brighter and brighter. Facing the emptiness inside you is simply the prelude to being filled with My fullness. Therefore, rejoice on those days when you drag yourself out of bed, feeling sluggish and inadequate. Tell yourself that this is a perfect day to depend on Me in childlike trust.

It is through problems and failure, weakness and neediness that you learn to rely on Me.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen. —EPHESIANS 3:20

July 8 EVENING GAZE AT ME; GLANCE AT PROBLEMS—this is the secret of living victoriously. I have called you to live supernaturally, and I have empowered you to do so. Ask My Spirit to help you fix your gaze on Me.

Because I am omnipotent, I am able to bend time and events in your favor. You will find that you can accomplish more in less time, after you have given yourself to Me in rich communion.
