Christ's death proves God's great love for man. It is our pledge of salvation. To remove the cross from the Christian would be like blotting the sun from the sky. The cross brings us near to God, reconciling us to Him. With the relenting compassion of a father's love, Jehovah looks upon the suffering that His Son endured in order to save the race from eternal death, and accepts us in the Beloved.

Through the cross we learn that the heavenly Father loves us with a love that is infinite.—The Acts of the Apostles, pp. 209, 210.

So the sacrifice of Christ would bring life and immortality.

All heaven is interested in the salvation of the soul. Then what reason have we to doubt that the Lord will and does help us? We who teach the people must ourselves have a vital connection with God.

We do not repent in order that God may love us, but He reveals to us His love in order that we may repent.

It was on the earth that the love of God was revealed through Christ. It is on the earth that His children are to reflect this love through blameless lives.

If we are conscious of our needs, we should not devote all our powers to mourning over them. While we realize our helpless condition without Christ, we are not to yield to discouragement, but rely upon the merits of a crucified and risen Saviour. Look and live. Jesus has pledged His word; He will save all who come unto Him. Though millions who need to be healed will reject His offered mercy, not one who trusts in His merits will be left to

God's love for the human race is a peculiar form—a love born of mercy, for the human subject is all-undeserving. .

My belief as a Christian is when we receive Christ as salvation, that that gives us a guarantee for Heaven.

I just think that it's strong and it's important that we recognize what the Christmas season is about; it's about the birth of our Savior, and there's a lot of pressure today to be politically correct, but people are realizing, too, that you have to be open to express your faith what you want believe.
