Jesus came to save souls in his fathers name with love and only love that is why he turned up as a man, so why can't we see his real message?

The love of God shows us that God alone bridges the distance between him and us, enabling us to see this world through Calvary.

The Christian faith, simply stated, reminds us that our fundamental problem is not moral; it is spiritual.

the cross is the centerpiece of the gospel message. It is truly the intersection of love and justice, judgment and grace, exactitude and mercy. The demands of the law call for perfection. But the law itself cannot transform the human heart. What this really means is that perfection cannot get us into heaven, but our faith in the Perfect One can. His justice comes hand in hand with love. And neither ever violates the other.

Jesus did not merely claim to be a prophet in a continuum of prophets. He is the unique Son of God, part of the very Godhead that Christianity calls the Trinity.

the gospel of Jesus Christ is that, though it is a story

Even if they are teaching truth, all others who have claimed or been accorded prophetic status are still at best human beings on whom this call from God was bestowed. Their assignment is a given one; they are the human receptors. Jesus, in distinction, is the Supreme Giver Himself. He is "from above," say the Gospel writers.

O Love that wilt not let me go, I rest my weary soul in Thee; I give Thee back the life I owe, That in Thine ocean depths its flow May richer fuller be. O Cross that liftest up my head, I dare not ask to fly from Thee; I lay in dust life's glory dead, And from the ground there blossoms red Life that shall endless be.10

But He did say, in effect, that if you test His claims by the same measure that you legitimately substantiate other facts, you will find HIm and His teaching thoroughly trustworthy.

God loves me unconditionally, and I receive His love!
