Our situation was so desperate that only the death of His own Son on a cruel and shameful cross was sufficient to resolve the problem.

To the degree that we live with an abiding sense of His love for us in Christ, to that degree will we love God with all our heart and soul and mind.

To see God solely as love is to overlook the beauty and the purpose of the cross.

I have done so for two reasons: First, that we might see the depth of God's love, not only in giving His one and only Son, but in giving Him to die for such people as Paul has described us to be.

God's love always transcends human love, even human family love, in its ability to reach out to those in need.

God's unfailing love for us is an objective fact affirmed over and over in the Scriptures. It is true whether we believe it or not. Our doubts do not destroy God's love, nor does our faith create it.

The Bible is a love story. Time and time again it illustrates how much God loves the world in spite of its sinful disobedience...The last book of the Bible, the Revelation of St John the Divine, creates a beautiful and yet terrifying picture of those last days when God will reveal Himself in judgment and in grace to all creation.

Love changes everything. Days are longer, words mean more. Love changes everything. Pain is deeper than before. Love can turn your world around, and that world will last forever.

Love never dies. Love will continue. Love keeps on beating when you're gone. Love never dies once it is in you. Life may be fleeting; love lives on! Life may be fleeting! Love lives on...

The most important thing in your life is your personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Whenever we think of Christ, we should recall the love that led Him to bestow on us so many graces and favors, and also the great love God showed in giving us in Christ a pledge of His love; for love calls for love in return. Let us strive to keep this always before our eyes and to rouse ourselves to love Him.

God will never reject you. Whether you accept Him is your decision.
