God tries to tell us in His Word how much He loves us and He accepts us, and that even though He already knows every mistake we will ever make, He still chose us for Himself.

This is God's holiness and justice revealed in Jesus Christ: that God justifies, accepts, and loves sinners despite their unworthiness.

There are no servants in God's family, only sons and daughters, fully adopted through God's gift of grace. Redemption is through faith alone, never by works.

Because of the fall of Adam and Eve and the natural sinfulness of the human heart that was passed onto all of us, there are those who will oppose God with all their strength. Paul was one of them. It was on his way to persecute believers in Jesus Christ that Jesus knocked him off his horse, blinded him, and spoke directly to him: "Saul! Saul! Why are you persecuting me?" (Acts 9:4). Never, never, never give up on the person in your life who seems most opposed to the gospel.

Even when we feel we should be disqualified from all that Christ offers, grace beckons us back.

It is God's job to judge; it is our job to share His love.

He had let go of the need to earn God's love

The good news about hell is this: It wasn't intended for you, and you weren't intended for it. You don't have to go there. Choose otherwise.

Our job is to get people to Jesus Christ and to get them back to Him in profound, life-altering ways every week.
