Slumdog Millionaire has been a great achievement. It has opened the doors of Hollywood for Indian cinema.

If I'm honest I have to tell you I still read fairy-tales and I like them best of all.

It might be a good idea if, like the White Queen, we practiced believing six impossible things every morning before breakfast, for we are called on to believe what to many people is impossible. Instead of rejoicing in this glorious impossible which gives meaning and dignity to our lives, we try to domesticate God, to make his might actions comprehensible to our finite minds.

The artist, if he is not to forget how to listen, must retain the visionwhich includes angels and dragons and unicorns, and all the lovely creatures which our world would put in a bos marked, 'Children Only.

We must not take from our children—or ourselves—the truth that is in the world of the imagination.

There is no limit to what your mind can achieve, what your heart can accomplish, and what your soul can realize.

Imagination is the means of deep insight and sympathy, the power to conceive and express images removed from normal objective reality.

All that the Church and its members need for the manifestation of the mighty power of God in the world, is the return to our true place, the place that belongs to us, both in creation and redemption, the place of absolute and unceasing dependence upon God.

God forbid that we should try to bring down His everything to the level of what we think possible.

We seek God's gifts; God wants to give Himself to us first. We think of prayer as the power to draw good gifts from heaven and Jesus as the means to draw ourselves to God. We want to stand at the door and cry; Jesus wants us to enter first and realize that we are friends and children.

It is the very essence of true religion, the channel of all blessings, the secret of power and life.

Do not be thinking of how little you have to bring God, but of how much He wants to give you.
