God knows best. We can trust Him with our lives as well as our eternal souls. He does not take something from us without filling that spot with something just as good--- and because it's from Him, even much better

God loves you, that He plans for your good, not your hurt. "It's true that things happen in life that seem wrong and are painful, but it isn't because God likes to see us suffer. He wants to see us grow. He wants us to love Him, to trust Him.

And I have discovered that God had it all planned, even before I had caught on to it.

Only God can bring about the miracle, the rebirth. It is my job to love her, to pray for her, and to leave the rest to Him.

Plans let past drives the future.

For me, my future hope is found in my relationship with Christ. By trusting in him and choosing to live a life dedicated to bringing His kingdom glory, I can be confident that I am living a life with purpose and meaning. My identity is found by what God says and who I want to become is laid out in Scripture.

Let us move into the New Year with a great sense of the thrill of living.

When God wrestled with Jacob, He wasn't fighting only for the heart of a man; He was warring for His dream!

But after a moment a sense of waste and ruin overcame him. There they were, close together and safe and shut in; yet so chained to their separate destinies that they might as well been half the world apart.

The quiet, almost passive young woman struck him as exactly the kind of person to whom things were bound to happen, no matter how much she shrank from them and went out of her way to avoid them.

Each was anxious to play the part fate had allotted to him, and each was dimly conscious of an inability to remain confined in it, and painfully aware that their secret problems would have been unintelligible to most men of their own class and kind.

To step on board a steamer in a Spanish port, and three hours later to land in a country without a guide-book, is a sensation to rouse the hunger of the repletest sight-seer.
