The real reason for grounding ourselves in the truth that we are made for more is "so that you may know him better." The more we operate in the truth of who we are and the reality that we were made for more, the closer to God we'll become.

We are made for more because we are children of God.

doesn't it all come down to that? Trust. Trading our will for "Thy will," because we know He will.

Experiencing life change is not a matter of chance, it's a matter of choice, choosing God's ways instead of your own.

Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails (Proverbs 19:21). Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed (Proverbs 16:3). In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps (Proverbs 16:9).

Sometimes, though, when God calls us to be set apart for another purpose, it's difficult to believe God's goodness in the hurt.

No matter what wrong thing has happened, there is a right next thing to do.

If this now broken relationship was Your best, You wouldn't have kept me from it. And if it is Your best sometime in the future, the enemy won't be able to keep us apart.

Sometimes hardship happens not because of what you've done but because of something God is doing.

Instead of looking at life with the hope of receiving love, I started expecting rejection.

no matter how well I plan things, I can't control them. No matter how well I think I know the people in my life, I can't control them. No matter how well I follow the rules, do what's right, and seek to obey God with my whole heart, I can't control my life. I can't control God.

We can press through the pains of the famine and find comfort in knowing that God has a good plan even in our discomfort.
