So that is what we pray for. That God will give you the wisdom and the faith to look beyond this moment. To know that whatever lies ahead, he has prepared the way. And he will have you ready for it as long as you are faithfully following him.

You are not asking me. I am asking you. Our lives are in God's hands now. Perhaps he has plans, a mission for us to fulfill. Instead of a soldier of Rome, you might now be a messenger of God. But if not, then I still choose to be your wife, for whatever time he allows us to have.

God doesn't tell you to do hard things so He can stand back and laugh and watch you struggle. He tells you to do things the things that He knows are gonna work out to your good in the end.

Everything that is done in the world is done by hope. No merchant or tradesman would set himself to work if he did not hope to reap benefit thereby.

Your most important work is always ahead of you, never behind you.

It's just as difficult to reach a destination you don't have, as it is to come back from a place you've never been.

God has work for you to do.

We could focus our efforts on discovering solutions that work uniquely for us.

Get up; repent. Come to God. Get the pattern of your life from Him, and then go about your work and be yourself.

If there is no Caller, there are no callings - only work.

For the Christian, there are, strictly speaking, no chances. A secret Master of the Ceremonies has been at work.

And the God who hears is also the one who speaks. He has spoken and is still speaking. Humanity remains his project, not its own, and his initiatives are always at work among us.
