What, then, does Christ's invitation mean? It doesn't mean He'll make life as easy as a cruise; instead, He promises to equip us for the long hike. How? By giving us the knowledge and wisdom we need to take the next step at each point on the journey.

When you are ready, guidance will come. Rely on the people who are in your life now; face your dark energies as honestly as you can; respect your boundaries and those of everyone around you. As you peel back each layer of the onion, the teacher who can lead you on will show up, almost miraculously matching the very moment when guidance is needed.

An integral being knows without going, sees without looking, and accomplishes without doing.

The truth. I don't even know what that is anymore. Be patient. Pray about it, and listen to God. He'll help you figure it out.

The ideal leader is one who hears the voice of God, and beckons on as the voice calls him and them.

The heart and soul of the Christian life is learning to hear God's voice and then developing the courage to do what he asks us to do.

If you lower the ambient noise of your life and listen expectantly for those whispers of God, your ears will hear them. And when you follow their lead, your world will be rocked.

Never delay a prompting. When you honor a prompting and then stand back a pace, you realize that the Lord gave you the prompting. It makes me feel good that the Lord even knows who I am and knows me well enough to know that if He has an errand to be run, and He prompts me to run the errand, the errand will get done.

You can extend your heart to the Holy Spirit today. Let Him take you by the hand — and He will safely guide you to the place where God wants you to go!
