We experience what life and death really are when we love, for in love we go out of ourselves, become capable of happiness and at the same time can be hurt.

If the world is to hear the church's voice today, leaders are needed who are authoritative, spiritual, and sacrificial. Sacrificial, because this trait follows the model of Jesus, who gave Himself for the whole world and who calls us to follow in His steps.

Spirituality is not easy to define, but you can tell when it is present. It is the fragrance of the garden of the Lord, the power to change the atmosphere around you, the influence that makes Christ real to others.

You will find as you look back upon your life that the moments when you have really lived, are the moments when you have done things in a spirit of love.

For many, living a Christlike life every day may be even more difficult than laying down one's life.

If you don't love somebody, it gets annoying if they tell you what to do or what to feel. When you love them, you get pleasure from their pleasure and it makes it easy to serve. I didn't love God because I didn't know God. universe is not effected by time. Light exists outside of time.. It is still a mystery to physicists.

God risked himself on me. I will risk myself on you.

A sweet and happy soul is the ripened fruit of experience and wisdom, and it sheds abroad the invisible yet powerful aroma of its influence, gladdening the hearts of others, and purifying the world.

God calls us to obey Him. God does not call us to obey every wish and whim of other people. God calls us to love other people. God does not call us to demand that they love us back and meet every need we have.

My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. (John 15:9 — 12)

We must carry with us the sweet aroma of knowing Jesus everywhere we go.

Who am I really? The answer to that question is found in the answer to another. What is God's heart toward me, or, how do I affect him? If God is the Pursuer, the Ageless Romancer, the Lover, then there has to be a Beloved, one who is the Pursued. This is our role in the story.
