The choice to be used as an instrument of love, right here, right now, is a choice for personal empowerment.

Just like sunshine affects others, when the life of Jesus invades your life, you become a loving person. The effect on others is amazing.

He loved us to the uttermost. And let us be so moved by this love that it becomes our own.

What does it mean to be a Christian? Charles Hodge, one of the great nineteenth-century Reformed theologians, sees the answer in this text: "It is being so constrained by a sense of the love of our divine Lord to us, that we consecrate our lives to him."6

Hold me closer tiny dancer, count the headlights on the highway. Lay me down in sheets of linen, you had a busy day today.

What a grand thing, to be loved! What a grander thing still, to love!

June 9 SEEK TO LIVE IN MY LOVE, which covers a multitude of sins: both yours and others'. Wear My Love like a cloak of Light, covering you from head to toe. Have no fear, for perfect Love decimates fear. Look at other people through lenses of Love; see them from My perspective. This is how you walk in the Light, and it pleases Me.

Hatred and bitterness can never cure the disease of fear; only love can do that. Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illumines it.

It is rather a courageous confrontation of evil by the power of love, in the faith that it is better to be the recipient of violence than the inflicter of it, since the latter only multiplies the existence of violence and bitterness in the universe, while the former may develop a sense of shame in the opponent, and thereby bring about a transformation and change of heart.

Hatred paralyzes life; love releases it. Hatred confuses life; love harmonizes it. Hatred darkens life; love illuminates it.

When love invades your heart, you are empowered to endure deeper pain, willingly pay a greater cost, and run risks to your reputation for the sake of another.

Let all that you do be done in love.
