Remember, it is not the brand name that matters. It is that God's heart be made available and active on this earth.

I personally describe contemplation as "non-dual consciousness" and find that it is necessary to overcome the "stinking thinking" of most addicts, which tends to be "all-or-nothing thinking."3 We could say that authentic spirituality is invariably a matter of emptying the mind and filling the heart at the same time.

Will God or someone give me the power to breathe my sigh into my canvases, the sigh of prayer and sadness, the prayer of salvation, of rebirth?

We pray not to inform God or instruct Him but to beseech Him closely, to be made intimate with Him, by continuance in supplication; to be humbled; to be reminded of our sins.

We must alter our lives in order to alter our hearts, for it is impossible to live one way and pray another.

Prayer is not about changing God, but being willing to let God change us.

Only the prayer which comes from our heart can get to God's heart.

Prayer does not change God; it changes me.
