God made only one you and He threw the mold away.

Nothing inspires people to believe in God as much as God-centered people doing good, just as nothing alienates people from belief in God as much as people doing evil in God's name.

God rested from all his work which he created to do/make. The last word, this last 'to do' is for us, we are the partners in the completion of creation, it's not done yet.

We live in a world in which people can do unbelievably beautiful or unbelievably horrible things to other people. And if those horrible acts argue against the existence of God, then the beautify acts must argue for God's existence.

There is work for us to do to be God's partner as it were and to continue. There is something for every one of you to do as a partner with God in this world. He has rested and as it were now, we take over. Later, God does not intervene quite as much as obviously as God did with the Exodus of Egypt.

Don't just aspire to make a living. Aspire to make a difference.

The chances you take… the people you meet… the people you love… the faith that you have — that's what's going to define your life.

Talent comes from God. If you have been given some, then value it, cultivate it, work and develop it.

When this happens, something "clicks" within you, and you know you have found what you were created to do. It is an instinctive, gut-level, spiritual experience. You'll know it when you see, hear and feel it.

Furthermore, when God chooses you to do something for Him, He knows you can do it. He never chooses you to do something that you are not capable of doing by His grace. Never run away from your calling out of fear that you will fail.

Your calling is not an afterthought. God does not save you and then say, "Now what am I going to get him to do? What job can I give her in the church?" God saves you because He has a purpose for you.

When I feel ashamed, it means I feel there isn't just something wrong with what I've done, there is something wrong with who I am. Shame is often a hidden emotion and it can be paralyzing in its power.
