We need to start seeing ourselves the way God sees us, because it's such a healing thing to begin to like yourself instead of being against yourself.

The gifts we have are placed in us for other people.

Your presence is a present to the world. You are unique and one of a kind. Do not ever forget, for even a day… how very special you are!

Oh, yes, we all want to help others reach their full potential, especially our children and grandchildren. But the bottom line is that none of us can do that for someone else, and no one else can do it for us. We must each do it for ourselves. We must each discover our own God-given gifts and talents, what we are truly capable of, and then put ourselves to the task of developing those gifts, talents and capabilities to their fullest extent.

Ordinary people can do extraordinary things if they apply the proper guidelines to their lives.

God will always give you the strength to do the things He calls you to do and live the life He's purposed for you to live.

Know who you are, hold your head up confidently, and enjoy the life that Jesus has provided for you.

Lord, I dedicate myself to developing and using my strengths for Your honor and glory. I want to excel at what I am gifted to do. Help me to know my strengths and to handle my weaknesses in a way that does not distract me from being effective for You. Amen.

I think that most of our unhappiness comes from not liking ourselves. If you don't get along with yourself, you're not going to get along with anybody else. Be content with who God made you to be!

We're all different. You can't be somebody else, so you might as well get good at being who you are.

Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, we will never lose our value in God's eyes. Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, we are still priceless to Him.
