God moves mountains to create the opportunity of His choosing. It is up to you to be ready to move yourself.

You have been created in order that you might make a difference. You have within you the power to change the world.

Everybody---every single body---makes a difference! But there is a choice that determines what kinda difference you will make. Most folks don't see how important they are...how much they matter to all of us. So they never choose to do somethin' special wif their lives. And not makin' a choice? That is a choice...a lost one.

There are those who would say 'Let us be patient. Let us sit and wait upon the Almighty.' I say tot hem, "Get up! The Almighty is waiting on you!' Make no mistake, the Lord God instructs us; He leads us and inspires us, but He expects us to do something with the gifts we've been given. It is a choice that too few make.

Pay the price. Embrace the vision. After all, everybody ends up somewhere in life. You have the opportunity to end up somewhere on purpose.

Our nation's challenges do not stem from the church's inability to convince unbelievers to behave like believers. Our challenges stem from the church's inability to inspire believers to behave like believers.

Everything somehow works out. Every decision has an outcome, and every path has a destination.

What are the two or three things that you and only you are responsible for? What, specifically, have you been hired to do? What is "success" for the person in your position? Now let's slice it even thinner. Of the two or three things that define success for you, which of those are in line with your giftedness? Of the tasks you have been assigned to do, which of them are you specifically gifted to do?

Identify the areas in which you are most likely to add unique value to your organization—something no one else can match—then leverage your skills to their absolute max. That's what your employer expected when he put you on the payroll! More importantly, leveraging yourself generates the greatest and most satisfying return on your God-given abilities.

I once heard John Maxwell say, "You are most valuable where you add the most value." It is vital to the health and success of our organizations that we as leaders discover that task, that narrow arena of responsibility where we add the most value. And once we find it, it's even more vital that we stay there.

In addition to a job description designed around your current employment, develop what you would consider to be the ultimate job description. This is for your eyes only.
