Israel is a country with a thriving free press and a nation known across the world for its support of women's and LGBT rights, not one that should face sanctions by a supposedly peace-loving world body.

The gospel is a message of peace. Christianity is a system which, received and obeyed, would spread peace, harmony, and happiness throughout the earth.

Truly blessed are those whose hearts know the peace of God; otherwise, the poor and the rich, the beggar and the king are all alike.

The purpose of all wars, is peace.

Further, nothing, except sin, is contrary to an act of virtue. But war is contrary to peace. Therefore war is always a sin.

The atomic bomb dropped on Nagasaki devastated the oldest center of Christianity in the country. This, of course, further complicated the Japanese views of Christianity: how could the West, which "represented" Christianity in the eyes of the Japanese, destroy a city that had such a rich history of Christian culture and a large Christian population? This point will be discussed at greater length in chapter seven.

Iran . . . has failed to take the opportunity to demonstrate that its nuclear program is peaceful . . . time is not unlimited.

The best time to stop a fight is before it starts. The best vitamin for developing friends is B1. The best way to destroy an enemy in to make him a friend.

There come times when we have to fight for peace.

God gives us His strength by giving us His vision of things. Our seeing people as innocent is the only way to achieve God's peace.

Our species is in trouble because we fight too much. We fight ourselves, each other, our planet, and God. Our fear-ridden ways are threatening our survival. A thoroughly loving person is like an evolutionary mutation, manifesting a being that puts love first and thus creates the context in which miracles occur.

It amuses me to think how angry I used to get when people wouldn't sign my peace petitions.
