Watching television in those days was not the same experience as it is today. After years of listening to radio, we found the black-and-white images mesmerizing.

During the day, I was a doctor. At night, you know, I was a comic. And it was really just to let off some steam. It just became my golf, you know, in many ways. Most doctors have golf as a hobby. Mine was doing comedy.

Whenever I don't have anything to do, I play Candy Crush or Scrabble. We actors have time between shots, which we need to kill. And we cannot call friends or family, as you are called at a moment's notice. So you need to do something which you can dispose of immediately when called for a shot.

All my friends were in college when I was making 'Superbad.' We were drinking beer and watching movies and eating pizza. It wasn't like I was going to nice restaurants or anything like that, and I lived like a frat guy. Eventually it was time to grow up, be healthy and be responsible. You can't live like a kid forever, you know?

I've never had a game plan. It's just if something comes along and it feels right in the moment.

I have absolutely no plans and no expectations of ever being a candidate again.

All TV is now digital. It's a platform ripe for innovation; we just haven't seen any beyond picture quality changes. That's a secular problem.

There is no pleasure in having nothing to do; the fun is having lots to do and not doing it.

Everything about aging in my experience so far has been a plus. Except the death part!

Boredom is a very self-conscious emotion by definition. Interest is not. So you can actually be completely absorbed in something and, at certain points in your development, not even realize that you're into it.

I like country, and I like some classic rock, too.

Though I have an idea about the climax, it always changes when we start shooting.
