Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses.

Keep your mind on the present journey, enjoying My Presence. Walk by faith, not by sight, trusting Me to open up the way before you.

If I pulled back the curtain to allow you to view heavenly realms, you would understand much more. However, I have designed you to live by faith, not by sight.

YOU MUST LEAVE ROOM in your worldview for mystery—accepting the limitations of your understanding and knowledge. I will never be predictable or controllable, but I am trustworthy. When adversity strikes you or your loved ones, remember the words of Job: The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away. Blessed be the name of the LORD.

While you worship Me in the midst of darkness, I enable you to see the first gleam of dawn on the path before you. Continue walking worshipfully with Me—a walk of faith. As you persevere along this path, the dim light will gradually shine brighter and brighter till the full light of day.

Every step on your life-journey can be a step of faith.

Fix your eyes not on what is seen (your circumstances), but on what is unseen (My Presence).

REST IN THE STILLNESS of My Presence while I prepare you for this day. Let the radiance of My Glory shine upon you as you wait on Me in confident trust. Be still, and know that I am God. There is both a passive and an active side to trusting Me. As you rest in My Presence, focusing on Me, I quietly build bonds of trust between us. When you respond to the circumstances of your life with affirmations of trust, you actively participate in this process.

Faith obliterates time, annihilates distance, and brings future things at once into its possession.

To succeed in life you need two things: Ignorance and confidence

This may well be," I said, "the darkest hour just before dawn. We have moved all of these months with the daring faith that God was with us in our struggle. The many experiences of days gone by have vindicated that faith in a most unexpected manner. We must go out with the same faith, the same conviction. We must believe that a way will be made out of no way.

Take the first step in faith. You don't have to see the whole staircase. Just take the first step.
