Every church needs to grow warmer through fellowship, deeper through discipleship, stronger through worship, broader through ministry, and larger through evangelism.

The fact is, it is selfish for a church to not want to grow. A church that says, "We've got enough people, we've got a nice fellowship. Our church is just the right size. We just need to focus on the members we already have." That church is, in reality, actually saying, "The rest of the world can go to hell. We don't care.

To be a friend of God, you must care about all the people around you whom God cares about. Friends of God tell their friends about God.

One of God's high callings for His people is that they be teachers of good things.

The Lord has done what I wanted Him to do this week. I wanted, primarily, peace about going into pioneer Indian work. And as I analyze my feelings now, I feel quite at ease about saying that tribal work in South American jungles is the general direction of my missionary purpose.

It takes a lot of money to do what we do. We have brought over 122 million people to the Lord Jesus Christ.
