God forgives you. Your mistakes did not change the ultimate truth about you or alter the permanent nature of God's universe. Your ego is not that powerful. Truly atone for your errors, make amends where possible, and you'll be free to begin again.

The world softens when we soften

Today I seek to love those whom I do not like.

We need a revolution of the heart.

May I have the strength to forgive those who've betrayed me.

Practice kindness, and you start to become kind. Practice discipline, and you start to become disciplined. Practice forgiveness, and you start to become forgiving. Practice charity, and you start to become charitable. Practice gentleness, and you start to become gentle.

Until we have forgiven someone's darkness, we don't really know what love is.

We ask Him to save us from our tendency to condemn. We ask Him to reveal to us the innocence within others, that we might see it within ourselves.

Forgiveness sets me free of pain.

To the extent that I withdraw my attachment to what you did, I will no longer be affected by what you did. I have decided to put my faith elsewhere. That is the miracle of forgiveness.
