It takes a great deal of character strength to apologize quickly out of one's heart rather than out of pity. A person must possess himself and have a deep sense of security in fundamental principles and values in order to genuinely apologize.

Lord, do not charge them with this sin.

Mankind cannot suffer anywhere without it bringing sorrow to other hearts.

Some days one has no choice but to deal with Society's filth....Our world isn't getting any better--or cleaner Elizabeth. I don't know how people can treat one another the way they do. Or themselves, for that matter.

May we show increased kindness toward one another, and may we ever be found doing the work of the Lord.

It is certainly a greater and more wonderful work to change the minds of enemies, bringing about a change of soul, than to kill them.

Don't be cynical; it leads nowhere. If you work hard, and are kind, amazing things will happen to you.

When you work hard and you treat people great, regardless of what it is that you're doing, naturally people want to help and do things.

I will fight against the division politics of revenge and retribution. If you put me to work for you, I will work to lift people up, not put them down.

If you learn how to forgive others for not being strong, then people can learn how to forgive you for your own issues.

We must renew our commitment to instilling high moral character in our students, to teaching them to treat each other with kindness, to stand up for what is right, and to respect the diversity of backgrounds and experiences that strengthen our country.

But what we can do, as flawed as we are, is still see God in other people, and do our best to help them find their own grace. That's what I strive to do, that's what I pray to do every day.
