Kindness is extended to all - to the aged and the young, to animals, to those low of station as well as the high.

I think it all comes down to relationships - how I treat my wife, how I treat my kids, how I treat the guys at the grocery store, all aspects of every day, what I'm involved in.

Man is subject to innumerable pains and sorrows by the very condition of humanity, and yet, as if nature had not sown evils enough in life, we are continually adding grief to grief and aggravating the common calamity by our cruel treatment of one another.

Whatever our religion, we know that if we really want to love, we must first learn to forgive before anything else.
