What if you knew you wouldn't fail--what would you do? What if time and money weren't an object--what God-sized goal would you go after? If you're looking for an excuse, you'll always find one. The same is true of opportunity.

You can have faith or you can have control, but you cannot have both.

We take some big miracles for granted. We're on a planet that's spinning at a thousand miles per hour, traveling through space and we don't worry about God keeping our planet in orbit. We already trust God for the big miracles like our heart beating and today alone, we'll take a thousand breaths, but can we trust Him in the smaller things?

If you let fear dictate your decisions, you will live defensively, reactively, cautiously. Living by faith is playing offense with your life.

Prayer is asking God to do something, future tense; praise is believing that God has already done it, past tense.

They thrive in the toughest circumstances because they know that impossible odds set the stage for amazing miracles.

There is an old adage: ready, set, go. And I know it's predicated on the importance of preparation. But I think it's backward. You'll never be ready. You'll never be set. Sometimes you just need to go for it. The sequence of faith is this: Go. Set. Ready.

There are moments in life when you need to stop pleading and start praising. If God has put a promise in your heart, praise Him for it. You need to celebrate as if it has already happened. You need to stop asking, because God has already answered.

We should live with a holy anticipation of what's around the corner.

When God stirs our spirit or breaks our heart, we cannot sit back. We've got to step up and step in. We've got to go all in by going all out. But if we have the courage to make the choice or take the risk, it will become the defining moment of our lives.

Don't try to manufacture your own miracles. Don't try to answer your own prayers. Don't try to do God's job for Him. Stay humble. Stay patient. Stay focused. Keep circling.

faith is acting as if God has already answered. And acting as if God has answered means acting on our prayers...
