Any seed that is planted by God bears fruit even before it touches the ground.

You can, if you believe you can.

Scripture teaches us that there is not one truth on which Christ insisted more frequently, both with His disciples and with those who came seeking His help, than the absolute necessity of faith and its unlimited possibilities. Experience has taught us that there is nothing in which we come so short as the simple and absolute trust in God to fulfill literally in us all that He has promised. A life in the abiding presence must of necessity be a life of unceasing faith.

A firm confidence that the blessing is actually within our reach is the first step toward obtaining it and a powerful impulse in the pursuit.

We are in such a habit of evaluating God and His work in us by what we feel that it is very likely that on some occasions we will be discouraged because we do not feel any special blessing. Above everything, when you wait on God, you must do so in the spirit of hope.

There is such a danger of our being more occupied with the things that are coming than with Him who is to come.

By faith you became partakers of the initial grace; by that same faith you can enjoy the continuous grace of abiding in Him.

The greatest defect of the Old Covenant was that it demanded obedience but did not provide the power for it. The new heart delights in the law of God; it is willing and able to obey it. A promise of God is a thing of faith. If you do not believe it, you cannot appropriate it or put it to use.

Do not live in your human imagination of what is possible. Live in the word - in the love and infinite faithfulness of the Lord Jesus.

Believe that ye receive it, and it shall come upon you. Between the receive in heaven and the shall come of earth is believe: believing praise and prayer are the link.

the New Testament never uses the expression 'help' of the grace of God in the soul. We have absolutely no power - God is not to help us, because we are weak: no, He is to give His life and His power in us as entirely impotent. He that discerns this aright will learn to live by faith alone.

In Jesus all our fears are removed, all our needs supplied, all our desires met. He, the righteous One, is your righteousness; He, the obedient One, is your obedience. Will you not trust Him for this? What faith sees and desires and expects and accepts, surely it will dare trust Christ to give.
