Fear is the foundation of safety.

There were all kinds of things of which I was afraid at first, ranging from grizzly bears to "mean" horses and gunfighters; but by acting as if I was not afraid I gradually ceased to be afraid. Most men can have the same experience if they choose.

For if you devoutly seek the Wounds of Jesus and the precious marks of His Passion, you will find great strength in all troubles.

Greater is Your care for me than all the care I am able to take from myself.

Do not trouble about those who are with you or against you, but take care that God be with you in everything you do.

Love Jesus and keep Him as your friend. When all others forsake you He will not leave you nor will He allow you to perish on the last day. Whether you like it or not the day will come when you will find yourself separated from everyone and from everything.

Therefore let not thy heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
