Where there is fear, worry, anxiety, doubt, trouble, chagrin, or disappointment, there is ignorance and lack of faith.

We're all fallen people in a fallen world. Where does a man find healing amid so many broken places? How does he find love in the ruins and vine-wrapped shattered pieces of his own soul? Because love's springing up through the rocks.

God never calls His people to accomplish anything without promising to supply their every need.

The silence of God's voice will make you wonder if He is even there. And the absence of God's presence will make you wonder if He even cares. He is. And He does.

The size of a challenge should never be gauged in terms of our capability. What we have to offer will never be enough. God never calls us to provide; that's His responsibility. Instead, He calls us to commit whatever we have—even if it's no more than a sack lunch. His call comes with a promise:

I gird myself today with the power of God: God's strength to comfort me, God's might to uphold me, God's wisdom to guide me, God's eye to look before me, God's ear to hear me, God's word to speak for me, God's hand to lead me, God's way to lie before me, God's shield to protect me. ..

Nothing touches me that doesn't first pass through the hands of my Heavenly Father, nothing.

Giants Big things. Things that buffet, bluster .....and defy domination. Dark things. Ominous shades that blight, blacken ....and blot out the Sun

Whenever anxiety knocks on the door of your heart, answer it with prayer.

Worry and anxiety are not great thoughts; faith in God's promise is.

The struggle of our lives was not a sign that there was still life. If you stopped struggling, that's when you needed to be worried. The fight meant that God was helping you keep going one more day even if you didn't thik you coould make it.

And then a wave of peace washed over her and told her it wasn't where she lived that mattered, but that she was walking with Him.
